Calverton Day Nursery welcomes you to our caring nursery in the heart of Calverton village, conveniently located just a short drive from Nottingham city centre. As a proud member of the Wolds Childcare Group, we benefit from extensive experience in delivering exceptional childcare across multiple Outstanding-rated settings throughout Nottinghamshire.

We create a caring setting where our aim is to enable each child to feel secure, valued, and supported throughout their development journey.

Tailored Care for Every Development Stage

Our thoughtfully designed spaces cater for children from early months of life through to school transition, ensuring developmentally appropriate opportunities at each stage. We maintain carefully considered group sizes for personalised care whilst providing rich social experiences. Our accessible facilities accommodate children with diverse requirements, celebrating each child’s unique qualities.

Flexible Hours to Support Modern Families We understand the demands placed upon working parents, offering extended opening from 8-6pm to accommodate working patterns and opportunities for early starts where required. Our structured day maintains a relaxed, homely atmosphere whilst providing transparent fee structures and comprehensive funding information. Government Funding & Financial Support We participate in various government funding schemes including the universal 15-hour entitlement and extended 30-hour entitlement for qualifying families. We accept tax-free childcare payments and childcare vouchers. Our admissions team are happy to discuss any queries regarding funding options and provide guidance on your application. A Gentle Introduction to Nursery Life Beginning nursery is a significant milestone, so we’ve developed a child-led settling-in programme tailored to individual needs. We offer a ‘transition package’ which includes a personal telephone call to clarify each child’s routine and answer any questions or concerns parents may have. Subsequent short introductory visits, gradually building to full sessions provide a smooth transition for children and families.

Situated just outside the beautiful village of Plumtree, The Wolds Day Nursery provides exceptional care for children in a safe, rural location.

Rushcliffe Montessori at Stragglethorpe

Set in beautiful woodlands, our Rushcliffe Montessori is a purpose-built facility providing a homely, secure environment. There are excellent indoor & outdoor facilities.

Willow Brook Preschool

Willow Brook opened in September 2010 and was judged 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2017! The school has a dedicated team of highly qualified professionals.

Woodland Experience

Children explore natural, private woodlands, investigate creatures in their habitats and learn about how seasonal changes affect the environment.

Strong communication forms the foundation of our partnership with parents. We use various methods to keep you connected with your child’s experience and progress, including on-line learning journeys for those who choose this option. Regular updates and observations create the strongest foundation for each child’s learning journey. Our Parent Forum meet once a term to provide feedback and offer ideas and suggestions to assist us in our aim of offering optimum care and education for all children.
